Dove Awards

When The Lord was calling me to open my own Private Duty Company in 2019, I had a vision that our icon should be a white dove with the olive branch in its beak, and our company colors should be sky blue and green. The dove of Christ means salvation. God uses His creatures and specifically the dove with the olive branch to represent good tidings and an extension of peace. “When Jesus was baptized, immediately He went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven and said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased’” (Matthew 3:16-17) God shows Noah through the dove that his family had a future, and that his patience was going to be rewarded.

Keeping with the theme of our icon The Dove of Peace, we have an employee award ceremony every year called The Dove Awards where we celebrate and reward our family of caregivers. This past January we celebrated our fourth annual Dove Award ceremony with a Country and Western theme. We hire a photographer, invite singers, rent a venue, and have a catered meal. This past year 106 awards were given out to our team. We have prayer; give praise to God in song, and share testimonies. Our caregivers look forward to this each year. You will see many photos on this page from this year’s Dove Awards.
